Two Geezers, Endless Thrills
Join Willie and Tillie Geezer as they prove life OVER THE HILL is full of WRINKLES, WISDOM, and WACKINESS.
Wait… let’s pause the story and backtrack to the very beginning.
It all started in 2009 with a mother who loved photography. She wanted to capture stories through her lens, but her young son would not sit still for portraits. She needed subjects she could shape, style, and bring to life. That’s when a tiny Christmas elf became her first muse. Her young son adored the elf and truly believed in its magic, and photographing the elf sparked the very first miniature story.
In 2013, when her daughter joined the family, a second elf arrived, and the magic grew. She and her children named them The FabYULEus Elf Duo. The elves became stars. The mother photographed. The children imagined. Together they created playful stories, posed the little elves, and turned holiday fun into miniature adventures. Soon, a plain table was no longer enough. The elves needed worlds to live in. And just like that, diorama became the mother’s art.
The mother crafted each scene with the care of a studio director. She considered lighting, composition, depth, and mood. Every tiny prop was chosen or handbuilt. As the children grew, each contributed in their own way. The son helped keep the magic alive for his younger sister, inspiring several dioramas and even assisting with creative ideas and set designs. Eventually, he went off to college, and his sister, now a teen, began helping, learning the craft of photography storytelling through miniature diorama.
Over time, this creativity led to patented ideas that improved posing and presentation. When those patents were sold, the family faced a choice: continue with the elves or dream bigger with new characters and new stories.
That decision gave rise to Willie and Tillie Geezer from the Richard Simmons Nanas Family Collection. Now the brainchild of both mother and daughter, with inspiration from the son’s earlier contributions, these spirited geezers became perfect stars. Together, the family built miniature worlds full of humor, life lessons, and playful adventures.
Through every set, every prop, and every carefully framed shot, one thing remained constant… a mother behind the camera, her daughter beside her, and a family’s shared love of creating something magical together.
Photography was the spark. The elves were the first medium. Dioramas became the art form. Willie and Tillie Geezer continue the story.
What began as holiday magic became a lifelong adventure… tiny handcrafted worlds, big imaginations, and a family bond that grows more with every scene.
